Now I'm not big into the crafting side of things, but just having the option to build and customize my own robot companions is really cool.
Even better is looting these robots afterwards and taking their parts to build your own robot companions. The final dungeon drags on for a bit and at the end forces you to go through a lengthy series of waves before it's conclusion, but for the most part battling it out with these robots were some of the most enjoyable combat encounters I've had playing the game. This leads to some really intense firefights that can be quite a blast. It's best you bulk up before tackling these dungeons. They pack a lot of firepower and can often take a lot of punishment.
